Who We Are

WOW Waking out the Word Discipleship Ministry is a discipleship  ministry  using in-depth inductive Bible Study & Discipleship to turn “believers” into Disciples  who  Walk out   the Word, who walk out their faith in a working knowledge of truth.  WOW Discipleship Ministry follows the Great Commission, Matthew 28:19-20, where Jesus commands us to “Go and MAKE DISCIPLES of all nations... TEACHING them to OBSERVE all that He has commanded...”

Who we are & our Purpose:

“Therefore, as you have RECEIVED Christ Jesus the Lord, so WALK in Him, having been FIRMLY ROOTED and now being BUILT UP in HIM and ESTABLISHED in your FAITH, just as you were INSTRUCTED, and OVERFLOWING with GRATITUDE” (Colossians 2:6-7).

Why we are & our Goal:

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20).

PURPOSE:

Once someone has  RECEIVED Christ as Lord, our purpose then is DISCIPLESHIP through the WORD, by example and with in-depth inductive study of Scripture – that they would WALK and be FIRMLY ROOTED in TRUTH, in order to BUILD them up in HIM, to ENCOURAGE and ESTABLISH them in their FAITH and their WALKS with the Lord, through in-depth BIBLICAL INSTRUCTION, so that they are OVERFLOWING with GRATITUDE to the Lord!

GOAL: 

Our goal at WOW Discipleship Ministry is to make DISCIPLES.  Our fervent prayer is that through in-depth Bible study, and intentional discipleship, we would have an impact in turning “believers” into “disciples”  who  “Walk out  the Word”; Disciples of Christ.  When Jesus says, “Make disciples”, He reminds us that DISCIPLES ARE MADE.  Disciples are not spontaneously created at conversion; they are the product of a process involving other believers. It is our job as Christ Followers, as Disciples of Christ, to GO and MAKE DISCIPLES.

Part of our mission at WOW Discipleship Ministry is getting the Word of God out to more people   across the country (and beyond if God wills it) and praying that each person who hears it, will catch a fervent desire deep within their soul to not only BELIEVE but to ACTIVELY FOLLOW CHRIST and dive deep into the Holy Scriptures to know WHO their God is, WHAT He has done for them, and WHO they are IN CHRIST...and everything they do will be an outpouring of that perspective!
